Join international water heating market leaders for a two-day workshop in San Francisco on developing and delivering “retrofit-ready” residential heat pump water heaters.

This dynamic forum will set in motion initiatives to drive demand for these units, develop common specifications, deliver strategies for market transformation programs, and implement policy solutions.

Policymakers from the California Energy Commission (CEC), California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), and the California Air Resources Board (CARB) will welcome manufacturers, utilities, local governments, installers, contractors, builders, and others to a discussion on how to open the residential retrofit market for heat pump water heaters. The bulk of the workshop will be divided into a programs track with electricity providers and a specifications track with manufacturers of residential heat pump water heaters.

Organized by the Building DecarbonizationCoalition http://www.buildingdecarb.org/, this event will bring together major heat pump water heater manufacturers, major California utilities, top policy makers, leading local governments, pioneering contractors and designers and many more.
